Another park cache! If you happen to come while the park is in use, I think you should still be able to hunt the geocache without drawing much suspicion. It is a small Lock 'n Lock type container hidden just inside the woods, so poison plants and insects are possible. No need to look through trash.
Douglas County Parks and Recreation's Mt Carmel Park has five ball fields of various sizes, a soccer field and a playground. You can bring your pet on a 6' leash as long as you don't allow it on the playing fields and you clean up after it. Posted park hours are 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
