This is a fairly quiet road now, with the majority of the
traffic whizzing by on the multi-lane highway nearby.
There are a lot of trees lining what you might call a country road,
with occasional views of the water and perhaps even mountains.
ICEman remembers a time many years ago when this was THE
highway to Anacortes. Even today you can see the
original concrete paving in places.
There is easy, safe parking in an extremely wide pullout, with
room for several cars, quite close to the cache location, on the
same side of the road. You will be able to stand/walk
well off the road as you search for this cache. There
is a drop off nearby, however, so some caution is required.
NO BUSHWHACKING IS REQUIRED. ZERO.
Bring your own pen, and be sure to replace the cache where you
found it.
