There once was another cache here called "The Unnamed Sculpture" (GC29F6T). The sculpture has a cache again and has a name now "Waterfront Whimsea" (which happened after I hid it). Stealth is necessary in this high muggle traffic area. There is no need to climb on the sculpture. Beware of the ugly fish! Enjoy the waterfront and the Ferris wheel that opened in late June 2012.

My first cache to reach those milestones in finds.
In August 2020, the pier had to be emergently closed and dismantled. The cache has been moved to a nearby accessible location until work is completed on a new pier.
As of April 2022, there is no activity on building a new Pier 58 walking area, though I have seen designs for it.
However, by summer 2022, work on the new pier has begun.
The new Pier 58 opened 7/25/2025 and the cache has been rehidden on it, after five years on the literal fence!
