A beautiful drive up the Meadow Valley Wash. A full day round trip from Las Vegas. Dirt roads require good tires, but a passenger car could make it. The last half mile requires a high clearance vehicle, or you can hike. Some of the trip is very isolated, traveling with two vehicles, or at least the proper desert travel supplies would be a good idea. Cache is a yellow ammo can.
The area and RR track had extensive flood damage this year, however around the cache it has been repaired. The low RR bridge has been replace by a high RR bridge and the wash has been graded up past the cache. These conditions were confirmed by 4x4av8r on 5/30/05.
