The third Cache in a series surrounding the most infamous and difficult ski route in the world - the Streif
Der Steilhang, direkt nach der Mausefalle ist eine Schlüsselstelle im Streif Abfahrtsrennen. Da er extrem eisig und steil ist, müssen die Athleten darauf achten nicht zu weit nach unten zu kommen - besonders weil eine 180° Kurve auf sie zukommt. Mit anfangs 85% Gefälle und 100 km/h nichts für schwache Nerven.
The precipice, directly after the mouse trap is usually decisive point in the Streif Ski race. Extremely steep and icy the athletes need to be very carefull not to slip to far downwards - especially since a U-turn is coming up. At 85% downhill slope and 100 km/h (over 60 MPH) nothing for the faint of heart.
