Geocache Description:

Parking might be an issue at certain times, but it should not be a difficult find. Room for trackables and trade items.

This cache was placed as a tribute to the place where I worked for 25 years, until it closed in October of 2010. The plant was built, in what was then the middle of farm fields, in 1955. At the height of production, it employed around 1500 people. By the time it closed, the factory population was less than 100.

In case you wonder, the boxes mounted on the fence probably still contain lists of the employees in each area of the facility - this was our rally point for fire drills.
