Third in a series taking you to the artifical ponds of Southlands. Watch for abundant birds and waterfowl, as well as amphibians.
This is the newest of the stormwater ponds in Southlands. Located behind the Canadian Tire, it is fenced off from the parking lot. Accessible at the lights on South Boundary to Home Depot (though a cement block prevents stroller access from here) or by driving into the new subdivision. I think this is the most attractive of the three ponds - very park-like. There are paved paths in the park, but you'll have to leave them to find this cache.
