You're searching for a camoed bison tube, one of the bigger ones shaped sort of like a scuba tank.
Yes - ANOTHER micro in the woods. If you already found 'S Curve Ahead' over on Maynard Mines Road (or any one of several other TeamSumter caches) you know exactly what you're looking for. Don't worry, it's easy. TeamSumter hides are generally about getting you out somewhere - not making something hard to find once you're there.
This cache is about 3.35 miles (via the road/trail) from the recommended parking area - it's easily walked or biked. (The first part is graded limerock, the second part is pretty good two track.) The parking coords for the recommended parking are listed below; there are of course other ways to access this area.
Unless this cache is attempted very early in the morning or late in the evening most of the hike/bike is out in the open, i.e.: no shade. Bring plenty of water - you're probably going to need it!
This land is owned by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. (SWFWMD) This area is the Hampton Tract of the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve. Persons using this area can (and should) visit SWFWMD's web page (visit link) to become familiar with rules and regulations for recreational use of this area.
