The CAP-CAP Story
The Pod just showed up one dark, foggy night. Everyone knew it was there, but nobody talked about it. Sometimes on a dare a teenager would poke it with a stick, but because of the noises it made when doing so, no-one tried to open it. No one in Leslie was THAT stupid.
Then one sunny day, Jeepers-gasfree on a bicycle with a GPS in hand stumbled across the oblong object. Not knowing any better, he turned the hatch. Startled at the commotion that ensued, he closed the hatch, but not quickly enough. Several creatures escaped, and the world as we know it was changed forever.
The Cap-Captain managed to hitch a ride with the unsuspecting PeterVZ1 back to Lansing. Peter thought he caught a whiff of spiced rum as his brother returned from the pod, but figured his brother was just holding out on him. Then he saw the creature. This one was a charming rapscallion, who convinced Peter to take him somewhere where he could replenish his supply of his favorite beverage. If you choose to visit him and share a drink, there is a bench nearby that he would love for you to pose as his favorite mascot and post pictures here.
(The Cap-Captain also said something about wanting to collapse PianoDan's cache free radius!)
