Monday, July 18, 2011 a new seven mile stretch of highway from Texas 359 to Mangana-Hein Road opened to traffic. It will be a while before the road appears on maps or a GPS unit, but it is open to geocaching. This is called both Cuatro Vientos Road and Loop 20 (outer loop). Here is your excuse for cruising Laredo’s newest highway. I made this short series with easy parking and hides.
