Geocache Description:

This cache was designed not for trading swag, but merely for enjoyment. Please do not take anything from or leave anything in the cache. There is no writing utensil, so BYOP.

The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad was orginally chartered to build a line connecting the port of Baltimore on the Atlantic Coast to a "suitable place" on the Ohio River. The state of Maryland later gave the B & O a charter to build a line from Baltimore to Washington D.C. From these beginnings the B & O grew to serve much the same region as the Pennsylvania Railroad. This is the third railroad players cross on a standard Monopoly game board. Happy caching.
