A beautiful Myth about this place is that Devi Parvati first danced here for Lord Shiva and then they got married at Kailash. At the time of Choul Rule this temple was built. Afterwards Mughal Intruders damaged all statues. Temple was then repaired in King Shivaji’s rule. Stunning statues, the columns and the architecture stand here as the witness to the height of human creativeness and brutality at the same time.
On the way you can see one such abandoned temple and one more Old Shiva Temple at village Hivare. Nandi (Bull) is the vehicle of Lord Shiva, seen facing Shiva in every temple in the sitting posture. Nandi at Hivare and Bhuleshwar are big and great.
Remember no footwear inside the temple. Don’t forget to take flashlight with you.
On the way you see the rural culture, the farming of vegetables, fruits and flowers. Immediately after the Village “Singapur” there is a Junction of five roads meeting at one point where you can have tea and snacks, fruits etc.
