I introduced Rocky Glen Grommets to Geocaching whilst on a short holiday at their place. I thought it would be a nice thing for me to do with the two young Groms.
Little did I know what an obsession was created. The Groms quickly surpassed me in both finds and hides. Along with the other YP cachers, they have done wonders for the economy of Yorke Peninsula by hiding a wide range of caches to entice people to come and visit the foot South Australia stands on.
Sadly Mum Grom was diagnosed with Bowel cancer in 2012 and passed away in 2013. Not sure if the younger Groms will carry on caching as it was mainly Mum Jackie's thing.
