The Douglas Lake Ranch has been an integral part of the lives of many, many people of many different cultural backgrounds. Even my Dad worked for the ranch in the 1970's.
Jake Coutlee still works for the ranch occasionally. He became a member of the B.C. Cowboy Hall of Fame, in the working cowboy category, in 2008.
The ranch has graciously allowed me to place a cache in the main ranch yard.
