The New Kid
on the Block
For a few years, this brand new two-story building stood vacant
... patiently waiting for someone to move in and call it home.
Well, that all changed in the summer of 2011. Contractors,
painters, and carpenters - you name it, they were there. Seems as
though they were making the interior as nice as the exterior,
making preparations for a new neighbor in town. Finally, the long
anticipated day arrived!
It's likely that many Mount Prospect residents have a fond
memory of this location. For nearly 50 years this was the place to
go for summer fun: mini-golf and batting cages. Did you go as a
kid? Or, did you share in the fun with your children or
grandchildren? When you log your visit, be sure to share your
favorite mini-golf or batting cage memory.
This traditional cache contains special kid-friendly swag inside
an official Geocaching container. Yes, you can grab one for your
muggle friends, too!
FYI: The "new neighbor in town" (the property owner) has
approved the cache location.
