This cache is placed to celebrate SummitCachers' 10th anniversary of geocaching (July 21, 2001 - July 21, 2011).
Our first cache, on July 21, 2001, was "Mad Jack" (GC8BF). Yup, only 3 characters in the GC number. As I recall, this Colorado cache was at an elevation of 12,000 feet (ever wonder where the name SummitCachers came from?). It was an ammo box containing a log book and several small airline bottles of liquor (the good old days before such things were banned). In 2001 there were almost no caches in cities and you usually had to drive 20 or 30 miles to find one. We found only 3 caches our first day and drove over 100 miles. In this case you will be looking for a small cammo'd peanut butter jar on the Mulhurst Bay waterfront. It initially contains a few toys, keychains, and SummitCacher signature items (no liquor).
