This cache is a small camoed L & L with only a Log Book and a Pen.it is on the most easterly of the Fegan Islands group. The Cache is hidden behind a "Rocky Mountain Juniper" (Juniperus Scopulorum)about 3 meters in height. It is the most Easterly Juniper on the Island.
I have an unregistered Coin for the FTF. (forgot to take it with me )
Congrats to SeekandSail on the FTF
The island on which the cache is hidden is mostly covered with grasses (where they can grow)and small shrubby trees, the most noticeable are the Junipers. There is a small tightly clustered grove on the higher part of the Island, but the tree you are looking for is about 70 meters to the ESE from that grove.I paddled to the Island from Spring Bay which is about 1.5 Km away. The rest of the group is well worth paddling around.Lots of Harbour Seals and many with Pups (July)The best access to get ashore is from the South, sheltered from winds out of the North and the South easterlies blowing up the Sabine Channel.
