Geocache Description:

This is a small/micro cache (log only – bring your own pen) located on the north end of the UT campus. Please be careful with the clip for the log. Also, caution with parking on campus since UT police WILL ticket. Fortunately, this cache is conveniently located near a parking garage in which the first 30 minutes of parking is FREE. Also, most other parking on campus is available after 5:45 pm without a permit (not 5:30 or 5:40, 5:45!).

This cache is on the University of Texas at Austin campus (visit link) If you are visiting town, you may want to pay to park longer and explore the university. UT Austin boasts many exciting points of interest, including the LBJ Presidential Library (one of only a few in the US), the Harry Ransom Center (home to the Gutenberg Bible and the first ever photograph), and the Blanton Art Museum. Or, just enjoy the campus -- the Turtle pond near the UT Tower is fun to visit, particularly with children (check out the pair of large snapping turtles in the upstream pond).
