This place has been called the birthplace of one of Japan's convenience store.

日本初のコンビニエンスストアは藤山台団地にあります。
藤山台団地は名古屋のベッドタウンとして開発された“高蔵寺ニュータウン”の一部です。1968年に入居が開始されました。
このコンビニエンスストアはその3年後の1971年にオープンしました。
2011年で開店から40年が経ちます。

Japan's first convenience store is located in the Fujiyamadaidanchi.
FUjiyamadaidanchi complex was developed as a commuter town of Nagoya, "New Town Kozoji" is part of. Residents was initiated in 1968.
This convenience store was opened in 1971 and three years later.
