I am looking for a cache,
hurry, hurry we must dash.
I want to
be the first to find it,
if I'm first I will not mind it.
But if I'm second,
I will reckon,
another first, it shall beckon.
I'll look here and you look there,
over, under, everywhere,
down below and up on top,
hurry, hurry do not stop.
Keep on looking for that cache,
do not mind all the trash.
Be careful of the poison ivy,
itchy, itchy, rash, rash, rash.
Where did it go?
Why can't I find it?
Check that tree,
now look behind it.
Check every nook,
and crook and brook,
find it, find it,
look, look, look.
Put it in a parking lot.
I will find it,
I know the spot.
Park and grabs I can nab.
Put one here,
it's not so clear!
I don't care to stop and shop,
or hop on pop,
or take a bus,
or plane or train.
First to find I will attain,
but finding it
has been a pain.
It strains, it strains,
it strains my brain.
What's that you say?
The pain is not in my brain,
the pain is from my twisted sprain.
I hope this trip is not in vain,
nothing ventured
nothing gained.
But now that I have wracked my brain,
I fear I am no longer sane.
I wish to get that first to find,
I will not wane,
until I reign,
and pop a bottle of champagne.
What is that, could it be?
Is that camo that I see?
It is, it is,
the stash, the cache.
The prize I seek before my eyes,
and it's even micro size.
Oh how I despise the size,
it's so easy to disguise.
It nearly led to my demise,
after many, many, many tries,
and clearly placed to get a rise.
Now to check for the surprise,
I will be first to find,
I surmise.
Now it's time to sign the log,
I know that I will be top dog.

That's not how I play the game.

I thought second I would not like,
but this was fun, and a hike.
