Why didn't they just call it Spruce? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

lmt000: The hide has been there for eight years and I don't work in the area anymore to keep it maintained. The container has lived it's lifetime and is now ready to retire. I am archiving the cache so thanks to all that visited

Geocache Description:

This is a one quart plastic jar covered in black tape, there is a log and some trade items inside along with a pen

The cache is on Picea Ct. I wondered what picea was so I looked it up. Picea is the botanical name for the spruce tree, hence the cache name. What else I found interesting is that, unlike the pine tree needles that are grouped in bunches of two, three or five, the spruce needles are arranged singly on the branches. So class, there is your botanical lesson for today, hope you enjoy.
