The cache is a small cylindrical container, placed on a small island in Lough Muckno. It contains just a log, BYOP. Coordinates are provided for the closest slipway. Parking and picnic tables are at the same location.
The cache is large enough for coins and small TBs. The cache is tied in place and there is no need to release the cache to open it.
In attempting this cache you will need to use a water craft of some description. Please ensure you take all the appropriate safety precautions.
Given the possibility of damp conditions, take the time to reseal the bag and tighten the container lid.
This cache will offer you a choice. The safe option is to step out of your kayak, stand in the water at the edge of the island and find the cache. Alternatively you could stand on your kayak and risk falling in while reaching for the container.....
