Ekeby by är den enda radby i Sverige som bevarat sin ursprungliga medeltida struktur med ringgata. Den oskiftade radbyn består av fem gårdar och i den ålderdomliga bykärnan ingår mer än trettio faluröda hus. Väderkvarn av holländsk typ finns på Kvarnbacken. Sedan 1500-talet har ärkebiskopsstolen ägt hemman i Ekeby by. Museum, kvarnvisning och örtagård. Bra cykelväg från Uppsala, vilket gör Ekeby till ett lämpligt utflyktsmål. English: Ekeby village is the only "row village" in Sweden that has retained its medieval structure and ring road. The undivided row village consists of five farms and in its core are more than 30 red wooden houses. Dutch-style windmill. The archbishopric see has owned the homesteads since the 16th century. Museum, windmill demonstrations and herb garden. Excellent bicycle path from Uppsala, making Ekeby a very suitable goal for an outing.
