Geocache Description:

 For at løse denne multi kræves der at du kan tilgå Internettet. Turen er ca. 2.5km.
To solve this multi it is required, that you have access to the Internet.
Your journey will be approx. 2.5 km.



Smartphone I, II og Bonus ligger i forlængelse af hinanden og er sammenlagt ca. 6km.
Hvert WP indeholder en lille elektronisk opgave, der skal løses for at få koordinatet til det næste. Hvert WP og/eller final indeholder ligeledes info, som skal bruges for finde Smartphone Bonus. Så vær opmærksom =)

En smartphone er en avanceret mobiltelefon, som bla. har 3 funktioner, der gør den særdeles fornuftig til Geocaching:

  • Den indbyggede GPS modtager, som er et fint alternativ til en ”rigtig” håndholdt GPS modtager
  • Det at man kan installere programmer (apps.), gør at man har en kopi af cachebeskrivelserne lagret på selve smartphonen.
  • Tilgangen til internettet holder cachebeskrivelserne/log’sne opdateret. Samt muligheden for informationssøgning ”i marken” er ligeledes et meget anvendeligt værktøj.
Flere og flere skifter den almindelige mobiltelefon med en smartphone (og om få år kan man måske ikke få andet!). Det medfører at flere og flere har mulighed for at stifte bekendtskab med Geocaching uden først at skulle investere i en forholdsvis dyr GPS modtager (mig selv inklusiv =)

Denne cacheserie er ikke lavet for at favorisere Geocachere, som benytter smartphones. Mere for at synliggøre hvilket dejligt stykke værktøj denne er. Serien kan derfor sagtens løses uden brug af smartphone, men besværliggører det måske en smule.

Smartphone I, II og Bonus lies in extension of each other, and results combined in a distance of approx 6 km. Each WP contains a small electronic task, which must be solved in order to recieve coordinats for the next WP. Also, each WP and/or finals contains info, which must be used to find Smartphone Bonus - So be attentive =)

A smartphone is an advanced mobile phone, which among others has 3 functions that makes it especially great for Geocaching:

  • The Built-in GPS reciever, which is a fine alternative for a dedicated handheld GPS
  • The fact that you can install programs (apps), makes so you have a copy of the cachedescriptions stored on the device
  • The access to the internet keeps these descriptions and included logs up-to-date. Along with the possibility of information-seeking ”in the field”, which is also a very useful tool
More and more switches their regular phones with a smartphone (and in a few years you probably can’t buy anything else, on the market). This does that more and more has the opportunity to get acquainted with Geocaching, without first having to invest in an expensive GPS (yours truly included =)

This cache series was not made to favor Geocachers who uses smartphones. More so, to visualize what ingenious piece of equipment this is. The series can therefore easily be solved without using a smartphone, although this makes the task slightly more difficult.
