Geocache Description:

Located off the Grand River Nature Trail, about 75 feet off the trail. The area is bushy in the summer, but not too challenging. The cache is placed in a fairly easy to see location, but not so easy to get. Please try to put cache back in the same location, as the area does have a tendency to flood a few times a year.

Start in Ada Park (parking lot off of Grand River Drive), as the Grand River Nature Trail winds through a private residential neighborhood with no public parking.

The "Pirates Booty" is a regular size cache containing a typical pirates treasure of jewels (not real) and charms. Feel free to swap an item for an item.
Pirates always mark their hiding spots, but sometimes X does not mark the spot. Be careful with this cache, it will require some physical ability to both acquire it's contents AND put it back. The cache is positioned to protect it and it's contents from the frequent floods that occur in this area. Putting it back the way you found it may require more skill that getting to it's contents, but please try.
