I love Geocaching! Whenever I travel, locally or internationally,
I'm putting together Pocket Queries and planning routes and trying
to find as many caches as I can, without annoying the family. My
friends all know of my need to feed my inner geek, some will even
join me in a run or hike knowing there is geocaching involved. If
somebody shows a puzzled look at the mention of Geocaching I
immediately launch in to an enthusiastic explanation and invite the
poor soul out for a caching expedition. But pretty much the first
question people ask (and I'm sure most of you have heard it before,
too) is, "How many have you hidden?" And in three years playing the
game I've had to answer, "Well, um...none, yet." Until now! So,
"For Your Consideration", I humbly give you my first Geocache hide!
Initially stocked with some doodads and gewgaws from near the tills
at places like Lee Valley and Rona, you know the stuff. Also, for
FTF, your choice of either an unregistered geocoin or a Gallagher's
coffee card. STF would get the other prize. Please, even if it's a
group FTF, only take one prize. Probably not as hard as it looks.
My Terrain and Difficulty ratings are based on the "Geocaching
Rating System" thingy, but I'm not convinced. I can edit that part
when I get a bit of feedback. CONGRATULATIONS to mrgulllable for
the FTF!
