Geocache Description:

Historical site: park and grab

Wilsons Siding memorial plaque and mill-stone. Site of flour mill with its own outlet to rail, where locally grown grain was milled for flour and stockfeeds. (Waimakariri Central Heritage Trail brochure). This is cache 7 of 10 placed on a Kaiapoi to Ohoka and back 20km bike ride I do now and again. Somewhere in the cache is a letter and number needed to calculate the location of the final (bonus) cache. Remember to look for and record these for future reference.
