Ohoka Domain
Once the site of a significant stand of swamp pine, a bustling village grew round flax and flour mills. Now it is a favoured rural/residential area surrounded by sheep, cropping and dairy farms. (Waimakariri Central Heritage Trail brochure).
The cache is located in Ohoka Domain which includes a playground and BMX track. Watch for muggles.
This is cache 6 of 10 placed on a Kaiapoi to Ohoka and back 20km bike ride I do now and again. Somewhere in the cache is a letter and number needed to calculate the location of the final (bonus) cache. Remember to look for and record these for future reference.
