Located on the path which vears off the coastal route and takes you down to Tearpoint itself. This path and indeed most of the coastal route is clear, grassy and defined and is suitable for walkers of most ages (Toby has walked this route since he was three.) ** Update**
Recently uncovered by the high tides and strong winds, cache is unlikely to be in its original position - grateful thanks to parentstrange02 for hiding again.
This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust. It is the first hidden by Toby (Age 7) who is the fourth generation of our family to holiday in this beautiful spot.
Tearpoint forms the farpoint of our favorite beach (Fall Bay) where many many happy hours have been spent by all.
Toby decided upon this cache location during a small diversion from the coastal walk, along the path used by the local canoeists to get down to the water. As the path peeters out take time to sit and enjoy the view across Fall Bay. Although the coastal path usually has a few walkers on it, the actual cache location is rarely overlooked by more than the odd local fisherman, so you should be able to locate and log without attracting attention.
The cache itself is a small lock and lock container in a zip seal bag. It contains Toby's homemade log, a pencil, sharpener, rubber (please leave these items)and a Ben 10 character badge and some beach glass from Fall Bay for swapping.
