Geocache Description:


Don't want to say too much about this area as it's relatively concealed and hopefully it will be a surprise even to some local people. However opening up a satellite view map will reveal all, if you haven't already guessed from the cache name. The area you'll walk through is open to the public 24/7

There are 2 free car parks but sometimes the nearest is closed if there are travellers nearby looking for a free place to camp. If it is, walk to the parking waypoint before starting.

The cache holds a few small items. It has been deliberately placed away from the car park to ensure everyone gets a bit of exercise and if your up for it, you could go for even more!

On your way back, you should get a great view of the peaks, including Shutlingsloe.

This is our first hide. Most of the local caches we've done have been placed by a few hardcore cachers and we're surprised they haven't placed one here. Can only assume they don't know about it, and maybe we wouldn't if we didn't have children.

Replaced and moved 18/3/2012. This won't be easy
