Santa Margalida

Muy cerca del pueblo de Bagergue, el pueblo habitado más alto de Val d'Aran, situado a 1490 metros de altitud, encontramos la ermita de Santa Margalida, encima de un montículo que domina todo el valle del río Unhòla.

Ésta edificación es del año 1960. Antiguamente había también algún tipo de construcción de la que no se guarda ninguna imagen.

Todos los 20 de julio se celebra en la ermita la romería con una Misa en honor a la Virgen Santa Margalida, seguida de la “Caritat de Santa Margalida”: vino, pan, y queso elaborado en Bagergue.

Near Bagergue, the highest inhabited village of Val d'Aran, situated at 1490 meters, you can find the chapel of Santa Margalida, on a hill overlooking the valley of the river Unhòla.

This building dates from 1960. Formerly there was also some kind of building from which there is no image left.

All 20th July a procession with a Mass in honor of the Virgin Santa Margalida is celebrated in the chapel, followed by "Santa Margalida Caritat" wine, bread, and cheese made in Bagergue.
