Geocache Description:

Camod Lock N Lock at Redwood Fields

Boomer the Dog and I have enjoyed walking around the trails behind Redwood Fields for years. Unfortunately, the original cache here had fallen off the radar. I had been waiting to either "adopt" the original or have it archived. That day has finally arrived. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes so appears Sports Fan 2. Well thats a little dramatic but I just liked this spot so much. It is so perfect for a cache.

Redwood Fields is open during daylight hours. There are bocce courts, basketball hoops, a play area and picnic tables. Good parking is available. Closest parking being at the far South end. Please note during baseball and soccer season fields are very busy. Previous cache seemed to be muggled quite frequently so please be stealthy.

Cache is a green plastic lock n lock. Starting stocked with packs of baseball cards, golf balls, log, pencil, and other sundries. Sorry, didn't think to put anything of real value for the FTF but did put several trackables to kick things off. Not too difficult to get to but does require a little climbing.

Am giving FTF credit to twice. Congrats to PapaBear71 for being the first FTF. Papabear and cubs found while old posting was still up and my new posting was waiting to be approved. Way to go bears! Who will the next FTF now that cache is approved.
