ES: Una pequeña excursión de menos de media hora desde la población de Jesús Pobre y con unas vistas preciosas sobre Denia, Jávea y el Montgo. EN: A short trip of less than half an hour from the town of Jesus Pobre and with stunning views over Denia, Javea and the Montgo.
ES: Jesús Pobre es un nucleo urbano de 700 habitantes vinculado a Denia, de la que dista 10Km. De Fray Pedro Esteve “El Padre Pere” se dice de el que fue el creador de la entidad local de Jesús Pobre. Estando el Pare Pere paseando en momentos de retiro por el Montgó encontro una talla de Jesús Yaciente del Santo Sepulcro que acabo por darle nombre al poblado de Jesús Pobre. Son interesantes su Iglesia del siglo XVII y el convento franciscano anexo, así como el Riurau recientemente restaurado y que se utilizaba para secar uva pasa. La pequeña ascensión al cache, permite una vista de 360º desde los antiguos molinos desde los que se ven Denia, Pedreguer, Gata de Gorgos, Jávea y el imponente Montgó.
