This is an easy cache not far from the road. The location represents the gateway to Gunn Point, a great place to spend the weekend.
This locality is named after the point of the same name. Gunn Point is believed to be named after Lieut. Gordon S Gunn an officer on "HMS Flying Fish" which in July 1886, under the command of Capt JP Maclear, RN, charted the Clarence Strait.
Today, Gunn point is a popular place for campers, fishermam, dirt biking and of course GEOCACHERS!!!!. It's close to Darwin and offers a chance to take the family away on a weekend trip. The sunsets are also amazing.
The cache is a camo plastic lock and lock container and is loaded with a Geocoin for the FTF, tracking bug and the usual swaps.
This is my first cache so feedback is most welcome :)
