Take the less traveled, paved road, that parallels HWY 97 as it offers a slightly different view and many more park and grab geocaches. Locals know to use this detour around Juniper butte, other wise known as "scale hill", during construction or road blocks. Don't forget to CITO if the opportunity presents itself.
