Tvornica Kulture (ili samo "Tvornica") pokrenuta je u rujnu 1999. kao «polivalentni pogon za proizvodnju kulture», otvoren za nove ideje i pokrete u rasponu od kazališnih i plesnih predstava i performancea do filmskih projekcija i koncerata.
Zahvaljujući sve boljoj tehničkoj ekipiranosti i naglašenoj programskoj inicijativi, Tvornica se od klupskog koncepta u prve tri godine postojanja sustavno počela pretvarati u atraktivan koncertni prostor u kojemu su do sada nastupili mnogi značajni hrvatski i inozemni rock, etno i world music glazbenici.
Tijekom godina, Tvornica je postala nezaobilazna zagrebačka koncertna pozornica koju bismo, 15 godina poslije najsjajnijih trenutaka «Kulušića» kao vodeće rock dvorane u tadašnjoj Jugoslaviji, mogli smatrati njezinim prirodnim nasljednikom, ne samo zbog neposredne blizine i gotovo istog menadžmenta, nego ponajprije zbog otvorenosti i kvalitete glazbenog programa te sve očitije naklonosti publike. Takav status ubuduće ima namjeru samo usavršavati.

Culture Factory (or just "Factory") was opened in September 1999. as "multi-purpose facility for the production of culture", open to new ideas and movements ranging from theater & dance shows and performances, film screenings and concerts.
Thanks to the improved technical staff and their underlying programming initiative, the factory of the club concept in the first three years of being systematically converted into an attractive concert hall where they also performed many notable Croatian and foreign rock, ethno and world music musicians.
During the years, the "Factory" has become an unavoidable Zagreb concert stage that, 15 years after the brightest moments of "Kulusic" as a leading rock hall in the former Yugoslavia, could be considered its natural successor, not only because of the close and almost the same management, but primarily because of the openness and quality of the music program and all the obvious affection of the audience. Such status in the future intends only to improve.
