Music is the Spice of Life; a Memorial to Mike and Carolyn Mitchell. Mike and Carolyn were true soul mates. They both had a joy for life and their love for their family and friends knew no bounds. Mike was a musician of immense talent. He could play every instrument he picked up. The instruments represented in this series are the instruments that Mike played regularly. Carolyn was a great cook. She is the only person I have ever known who actually deboned and stuffed her own turduckin for Christmas dinner. When Mike and Carolyn were in Washington State, she taught herself to make tamales to keep their Texas roots alive. Both of their lives were tragically cut short. Mike passed away in October 2002 at the age of 50. Carolyn passed away in December of 2005 at the age of 53. They are greatly missed and will be in our hearts always. All of the caches in this series have partial music scores on the back of the logs and all are in cammo spice jars of various sizes. If you want to do the BONUS CACHE, study up on your music reading skills! Inside the lid of each cache (except #1, It All Startz Here) is a music note. The letter the note represents will correspond to a number given in the bonus cache webpage. Make sure you also know which cache title instrument you found which note at. You will need both of these pieces of information to solve the mystery.
