How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Walk away from the river and benches, mind out for the log and towards a bank.

The medieval weir fed fish ponds, a mill and also played a role with the tin mining in the area. There are plans afoot to use the power of the river to provide energy for the NT buildings once again.

This cache was placed by some students of the Maynard School, Exeter, working with the National Trust rangers to produce a beginners' geocache trail around the grounds of Parke.
