This is our first geocache, kindly given to us by Team G.A.S for helping them out with a missing cache. We had a few problems with the co-ords at first, but here it is at last!
The cache is a regular sized, clip-lock plastic container inside a camo bag.
The cache is located on an old bridleway between Cowley and Gnosall. It can be part of a pleasant, wooded, circular walk, roughly 1 and a half to 2 miles long, returning via the canal towpath or parallel paths taking in other caches nearby. Look out for the canal tunnel and the quarry at Gnosall.
We have set the cache on the route of a walk that was a favourite for my neice when she was small and enjoyed splashing in the large puddle that gathered at the top of the lane. Sadly the puddle has now been filled in, but a smaller puddle still forms there in wet weather. You may be lucky, but take your wellies just in case!
