Geocache Description:

A magnetic 35mm film pot that only contains a log. Please bring a pencil.

The Hams Hall Estate and what is modern day Saltley was owned by the Adderley family for over 262 years. The name of the estate was derived from the fact that the land lay in a great hook (ham) of the River Tame.
This Series takes you on a walk that starts at St John The Baptist Church on the edge of Lea Marston or at the parking coordinates shown which are at the other end of the trail..
You will walk along a disused road that was once part of the Hams Hall coal-fired power station road network and also along the banks of the river Tame which takes you around the boundary of the National Distribution Park.
The walk is level for the most part but does have some small inclines. It is suitable for children and pets but care will be needed.
PLEASE NOTE - Parking is either at St John the baptist church Lea Marston or at the end of a Cul-de-Sac leading to Ladywalk Nature Reserve (Parking Coordinates N52 31.238 W001 41.626) This cache series does not form a complete circuit and you will have to walk back along the trail to return to your vehicle which ever end you choose to park..
You can also collect Jandmwebber's "Hams Hall Art Gallery" and "Hams Hall 1998" which are further along the trail towards Coleshill Parkway railway station.

Congrats to Gaz-Zippy for his FTF on this one.. Try, Try and Try again.. Well done, I salute you ...
