You are looking for an ammo box at the rest stop off of Route 1 North. If you are confused, it's not you, it's the Massachusetts roads. Keep reading...

Wrong-way Concurrency

A Highway Concurrency is where sections of two or more highways run along the same physical road. For example, at this cache site Route 128 South and Route 95 South run together.

A Wrong-way Concurrency is where sections of two or more highways run along the same physical road but are signed with opposite, conflicting directions. For example, at this cache site Route 128 South, Route 95 South and Route 1 North all run together. In another mile, all of this is fixed as Route 128 South ends, Route 95 South branches off towards Rhode Island, and Route 1 North joins up with Route 93 North.

But it wasn't always that way. Up until 1997, Route 128 South did not end here but continued creating another Wrong-way Concurrency with Route 93 North.

Does anybody really wonder why it is difficult getting around Boston?
