Geocache Description:

Welcome to Spuyten Duyvil and the Henry Hudson Overlook!

There are many scenic locations in this area, and this spot holds up with the best of them. We first discovered this little overlook when we were FTF at the original cache Three Bridges set out by a cacher called Bag Man (The bag man always carries the loot!). A spot like this deserves a cache, and so I'm resurrecting it, with the former CO's blessing.It's not in the original location, as the path has been blocked with a steel barrier, but it is close to it It's a little bit of a trek to get here, but well worth the view. You can see the Henry Hudson bridge, the George Washington bridge, and the Spuyten Duyvil railroad bridge across the mouth of Spuyten Duyvil creek. *There is no reason to leave the confines of the park, and to climb over the fence would be dangerous and violate Groundspeaks rules, as it is unclear where Metro North's property line begins. Parking may be found on Palisade Avenue within mere feet of the cache and is relatively plentiful.
