Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but is within 5 miles. Contains log and in-theme FTF prize; bring a pen. A shout-out goes to The North Star, whose Etch a Sketch cache was the chief inspiration for this one.

Sometime in 1927, Dr. Leonard Stocking told this remarkable tale:

Last week, a wild-eyed patient burst into my office, shouting “I am Zack, and I want to set the record straight!” He should not have been running loose on the grounds and I almost called for the orderlies, but something about the look in his eyes was most compelling. I asked him to sit down and explain his problem, but he backed away from me. “Bill fooled me! He took it for himself, but it was mine, I tell you! He wouldn’t even let me keep the Orioles!” He began pacing the floor wringing his hands. “And now he’s gone, and no one will listen!” Sometimes in such cases it is helpful to let a patient expound upon his delusion, so I asked, “Can you tell me what Bill took and where it is now?” He abruptly stopped pacing and stood rooted to the spot. “Yes! Yes! My word is my Bond, and I can prove it was mine! I hid the prototype here when this place opened, 2 years before anyone else had it! You can find it at…” But before he could finish he had an alarming seizure, and jigged about the room, running this way and that, forwards, backwards, skidding along the floor in a most unsettling fashion. He stopped abruptly and I asked him again to sit. "No! Can't you see it?" he cried, and began again, careering about the room. Finally he said, faintly, “goodbye…” and vanished!

I have not been able to get him out of my head since. I checked our records thoroughly – his name was nowhere to be found, nor anyone who harbored his particular delusion. I have no idea where he came from or indeed if he was ever there at all. I, did, however, copy down the motions of his strange seizure. Perhaps you will understand it; it was too mystifying for me.

[Note: The events and conditions described in this puzzle are purely fictitious. However, it would be wrong to say that any resemblance to real persons living or dead is coincidental.]

[That is to say, the meeting with Dr. Stocking never took place, and Zack wasn't actually mad. He was, however, quite angry, and the dispute alluded to is historical fact.]

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
