Blood Road Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden at the end of what use to be known locally as "blood road". The story goes that a man after having fought with his wife was so enraged that he killed her. Fearful of being discovered by the police, he hacked up her body and threw the pieces into the back of his pick-up truck. He then drove down this road to the bay and then dumped his wife's mutilated body into the bay below. The wife's blood leaked out of the bed of the pick-up truck and dripped onto this very road as he slowly drove to the bay. It is said that you could see her blood still when you drove down the road going towards the bay. Also on certain nights you could see her ghost looking for all the pieces of her body and warning others away from her brutal husband.
As a kid, we use to drive down here and you could actually see red in the middle of the road (probably paint). We had a lot of fun daring each other and talking about this spooky story. Now, it's been paved over many many times so you can no longer see the red and their are tons of new houses with people who have probably never heard of blood road but the story still remains to those of us who are old locals.
