Geocache Description:

Taylor Cemetery is located along Elkhorn Road in Forward Township

As near as we can tell, this cemetery goes back into the 1700 hundreds. There is a big sandstone rock that was used as a headstone which has a date on it of 1750 and 1780. Very hard to decipher any other writings. We were amazed as to how they got this huge stone there back in that era. Here are the cords for the stone, N40 13.367, W079 56.495. This is not well kept but be very respectful as to where you are. There is no room for trades, please bring a pencil or other writing utensil. Place back carefully.
