This cache is hidden with permission from the Puyallup Public Library who encourages you to come out and visit your public library! The head librarian and librarian "Bonnie" know about the cache and Bonnie knows of its location. Please do not disturb the librarians when trying to find this cache. It should be a simple grab. I have provided a link to the library's web site which will provide some great information on programs the library has going on as well as other pertinent info.
In my official role as WSGA Chapter Rep - Puget Sound Chapter, I was at the library doing a geocaching class for some teenagers. In prepping for my session, I noticed that the "downtown" portion of Puyallup was seriously lacking in caches. So, I thought, "why not put a cache IN THE LIBRARY! Hence a new cache was born!
The listed coordinates are for the main entrance to the Puyallup Library. To find the cache, simply enter the library head past the desk and proceed upstairs. Once at the top of the stairs veer left like you are walking towards the "Mystery" section. On your left just before you get to where the public computers are, you will see a large two tiered metal cabinet against the wall that holds all of the library's maps. You will find the cache in one of the map drawers that is most appropriate for geocaching.
The library hours of operation are as follows:
Mon - Wed: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Thurs - Sat: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sun: Closed.
