Geocache Description:

A series of 6 caches and a bonus set around a 4 mile walk which starts from the beautiful village of Rockbourne. The village has many examples of Tudor and Georgian houses, but by far the oldest and most famous dwelling is the remains of a Roman Villa, just south of the village.

The walk starts from the car park at the village hall (see parking co-ordinates). Turn left out of the car park and walk through the village, past the pub, until you reach way point 1. Turn left up the footpath here. The walk is mainly on footpaths and tracks, with a small section on a country lane. The terrain is undulating and uneven in places, there is a fairly steep climb near the start of the walk, and there are several stiles, some of which are poorly constructed and a bit challenging! However, to compensate, there are stunning countryside views to enjoy.

Between #1 and #2 is 'brew and view number 5, Rockbourne'with particularly good views.

The caches are of varying sizes. Please bring a pen and paper and tweezers/toothpick.
Each of caches #1 -6 contains a clue to the location of the bonus cache, and must be done in the correct order for this to work.

The bonus cache is at:

N 50° 57.???
W 001° 50.???

The check sum for all the individual digits, both given and calculated, is 59.
