Bishop's Field can be done as part of the Around Yatton Trail or as a short walk on its own. The walk is mainly across fields, but can be muddy when wet and in winter and includes some stiles. Parking can be found at Claverham Village Hall.
Bishop's field is named after the road from which many may choose to approach this cache. Footpaths run through this field, although the cache is slightly off the route. Take time to admire the large oaks which are in and bordering this field. The cache is a 1 litre lock and lock box with a log book, swaps and room for travel bugs.
This cache can be done in conjunction with several others nearby and makes a good circular route.
The field often contains livestock - cows and horses generally, so please take care to watch children and dogs. Some of the fencing is barbed wire, so again, take care. It is a flat walk, but includes several stiles and walking through grass which can be long at times making it unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
*PLEASE NOTE: there is no need to climb through any barriers to get the cache.
If you choose to park in the village hall, please park considerately. The general area gets busy before and
after school with people parking here.
