Tusker Rock, an island in the Bristol Channel just off the coast at Ogmore-by-Sea, took its name from Tuska, a Danish Viking who inhabited the fertile Vale of Glamorgan with his fellow warriors. It can only be seen at low tide.
To the South West of Tusker Rock is a light bouy that flashes red from the seaward side to warn shipping of the rock.
Please carefully replace as found so as not to spoil it for other cachers visiting after you.
