A cache in a nice Clemson park, created by, filled by, and hidden by our kids.
Abernathy Park is one of the newer (newest?) parks in Clemson and is a nice place to walk, complete with boardwalks that extend over the lake. And it covers some nice distance from the edge of town near Oconee county into the middle of downtown.
Our kids wanted to place their own cache and created this one. They also created the hint while standing on Ground Zero. It's not heavy on items and isn't intended to be a a prize haven--mostly just a cache to find and sign, but there is room to put things inside.
Your GPS could lead you to alternate parking places, but some of those are private dwellings (apartments) or fast food joints. Proper parking is at N 34 41.381 W 82 50.229.
This is wheelchair and stroller accessible to the final few feet and possibly all the way to really close to the cache. Be careful because almost any green space in upstate South Carolina will have snakes, ticks, and poison oak, or at least it has the potential. I didn't see any of this during the hide, but always be aware.

First to find honors go to wolf1822066, though he hasn't logged his find yet. The kids had hoped this would be "wolf FtF proof" since he seems to get 'em all, but he thwarted the plan. :)
